I have never been more heartbroken as I was today while visiting a resident . He had throw up all over him that had been there for quite a while (it had dried) his teeth hadn’t been brushed in quite some time , and the diaper he was in had been on so long that the padding had come out and was stuck to his skin . I understand you can’t keep everyone clean all day , but NOBODY deserves to be in the condition he was in today. I notified the cna that he was dirty and the response i got was “I’ll change him before my shift is over” so, I changed him myself and brushed his teeth and tried conversating but he was so overly medicated he could barely keep his eyes open . A few months ago he was walking, and having conversations . He’s now in a wheelchair and could barely talk.I would rate this place negative if i could .
