Last year I went to put in an application Patell (the owner) cussed me out because I parked on his fresh asphalt (there were no signs telling me not to come in and it wasnt roped off) my husband took me up the best day for an apology and while my husband was holding my newborn son he acted like he was going to hit my husband (we weren't rude. We just wanted an apology ) and then conntinued to talk bad about our vehicle and called us poor then threatened us with the cops. I DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel. He didn't even know why I was there he just cussed me out. I could have been have paying customer. (He ripped my application and threw it away).
Spent the night here visiting a nearby college. UT Martin to be exact. Nice rooms and nice service. Plus fresh biscuits in the morning. Yumm!
The staff is very friendly and quick to help you out, even after hours. The beds are....not as great. The pillows are all lumpy or flat and the mattresses were very stiff. There was no weather stripping around the door which meant we heard anything and everything going on outside our room. But they do allow pets which is why I have it the 4* rating.
I highly recommend the hampton instead. I worked for them and the rooms are outstanding.
Front desk staff had to be rung for, but the wait wasn't long. The only complaint I have regarding the room was the smell. We specifically requested a nonsmoking room due to a smoke allergy. The room smelled like it had been smoked in recently and someone tried to mask the smell. Otherwise, it was fine.
Didn’t even stay here because I had to leave for a work trip. Called the week of to cancel my reservation. Was told that I would get my refund back. The money never showed back up in my account since it was pre paid. I had no choice when booking to prepay. Nick the “manager” was screaming at me when I asked why he was refusing my refund when a new employee told me I would get my money back. Nick hung up on me. Then I called back, a lady who refused to give me her name started to yell at me and then hung up the phone. This is poor customer service. I will no longer be staying at any choice hotels. Marriott and Hilton will be getting my business from now on. This is poor management at its finest. If you want to be treated with disrespect and poorly this is the place to go.
